More about Aidan Tunison...

Hi, my name is Aidan Tunison and I am an Actor, model, and musician from New Jersey. I have spent the majority of my life both training and performing in plays, musicals, showcases, and live music gigs. Ever since I was young, My older brother and I loved to create amateur short films where he would direct and I would star in them. One specific short film that was our favorite was called “Blazing Irish” in which myself and multiple members of my family starred as the Irish Mob. I played a young but driven man who was seeking to get into the business. It was these short films that sparked my love for acting and would lead me to join a local music and theatre studio, Rockstar! Studios, in which I would spend close to the next 8 years of my life participating in one on one as well as group training in Acting, Voice, Guitar, and even for a brief time Dance. I auditioned for every play and musical that would come my way in both high school and at the studio I was attending. I have played roles such as; Warner Huntington the III, Chip Tolentino, Stacee Jaxx, and Luke from The Lightning Thief. As you may have noticed I have had a long streak of playing the bad guy, which was always fun and challenging of me to take on. With this being said, a particular milestone in my theatre career was breaking this bad guy streak when I got the role of Orlando in As You Like It (2021). This by far was my most adventurous and challenging role as it required a heavy amount of memorization in traditional Shakespearean style writing. This role would also lead me to audition for Something Rotten! In which I got the role of Nigel Bottom.

Participating in both musicals and plays, my love for acting has grown to become immeasurable. When it came to applying to Colleges in my junior and senior years of high school, I applied to top acting schools in New Jersey. My dreams came true as I was accepted into the BFA Acting Program of Montclair State University. Life however is sometimes very complicated and due to certain circumstances in my home life at the time, I was unable to attend Montclair. This decision weighed heavy on my heart, but ultimately it was the right decision at the time. After high school, I decided to attend a school close by home called Raritan Valley Community College for Classical Guitar. I ended up pursuing music over the next two years of my life by becoming a music instructor at the studio I trained at. I also dove deeper into my songwriting, releasing my original music on streaming services. I accomplished these goals, but something still seemed to be missing from my life. After changing jobs, I entered the workforce doing full-time construction for my father’s business. Fast forward almost two years, I have experienced and taken many roads at a young age, but ultimately I keep coming back to acting. Through all of these paths I’ve taken, the dream of becoming a full time Actor has never quite gone away and is perhaps burning hotter now than it ever was.
